To ensure optimal movement of the facade, the building should be divided into a horizontal and vertical expansion joint grid. The length between vertical expansion joints should not exceed 12m, and 9m between horizontal joints.
It is recommended to use cement mortars of class M5 for module brick arte.
Before the starting construction, the first layer of module brick arte should be laid without the use of mortar. This will allow the facade to be measured effectively and ensure conformity with the design.
The first layer of module brick arte should be laid on a mortar of max. 20 mm thick and spread over the entire width of the foundation. If the application of a thicker levelling layer is necessary, B10 concrete should be used.
The face layer of module brick arte should be supported along both the entire length and width of the facade. Vertical support relies on supporting the facade with steel cantilevers or plates which are an extension of the upper floors. Horizontal support is obtained by means of bolts.
It is recommended to leave an approx. 3-4 cm ventilation gap between the facade and wall insulation layers.
